Consumer Searching for PhysicianHealth systems are facing rising competition to attract and retain patients - both online and offline. To help them shape their patient access strategies, we surveyed 1,000 people in the US to find out how today's healthcare consumers really go about searching for, selecting, and scheduling with providers. Key findings include:

  • Searching - 53% of patients turn to the internet to find providers & the majority of patients do research even after receiving a referral.
  • Selecting - Insurance & clinical expertise are the top two factors when picking a provider, but patients value a host of other criteria.
  • Scheduling - Despite commonly researching providers online, 62% of patients still prefer to book appointments by phone.

In this free webinar featuring Banner Health, you'll also learn:
  • Key patient access & experience factors that influence patient decision-making.
  • What other criteria patients value the most - and least - when selecting providers.
  • Ways to optimize your health system's online presence to drive patient acquisition & conversion.
  • How leading health systems like Banner Health are building patient-centric access models.
