Company Doubles Revenue Amid Rapidly Growing Demand for Enterprise-Wide Patient Access Solutions

Boston, MA – Kyruus, a leader in provider search and scheduling solutions for health systems, today announced its 2017 results, highlighting a monumental year for the company in which it achieved a 100 percent increase in revenue and 50 percent increase in the number of hospitals it serves across the U.S. The company added numerous health systems to its customer base, including organizations such as Banner Health, University of Miami Health System, Baylor Scott & White Health, Jefferson Health, and Mount Sinai Health System. Kyruus now manages over 100,000 providers on its patient access and referral management platform – helping health systems boost patient acquisition and retention, as well as provider engagement and productivity.

To support the immense growth and meet increasing market demand, the company added several experienced executives to its leadership team, including Chris Gervais as SVP of Product Development, Scott Andrews as SVP of Delivery, and Erin Jospe, MD as Chief Medical Officer. Gervais brings deep healthcare and security expertise from prior roles at Partners HealthCare and Threat Stack, while Andrews strengthens the company’s operational and implementation depth after successfully leading similar functions at healthcare technology pioneer athenahealth for almost two decades. Dr. Jospe, a practicing internist for 15 years before serving in leadership roles at Best Doctors and PatientKeeper, plays a critical leadership role driving advancements in Kyruus’ patient-provider matching methodologies and spearheading its provider engagement programs.

Kyruus delivered multiple product enhancements in 2017, including the launch of ProviderMatch Analytics, an in-app analytics solution that delivers novel insights to health systems. The solution helps organizations understand patient access channel dynamics, boost service to patients, and optimize their provider networks by leveraging data from the ProviderMatch applications and the KyruusOne™ provider data management platform. The latter won the MedTech Breakthrough Award for “Best Healthcare Big Data Platform” in early 2017. Kyruus also joined the Epic App Orchard and announced partnerships with both Salesforce and Binary Fountain last year, augmenting the ProviderMatch platform’s ability to help health systems attract new patients and convert their demand to booked appointments.

“In 2017, we saw patient access shift to center stage for health systems as a strategic, multi-channel priority,” said Julie Yoo, Chief Product Officer. “Throughout the year, we introduced a variety of innovations to our platform to enable differentiated consumer- and enterprise-facing  solutions. In 2018, we’re excited to continue to enhance our capabilities and work with partners in the ecosystem to bring AI, predictive search, and other cutting-edge capabilities to our customers.”

“We are excited to be empowering so many of the leading health systems in our country to drive patient and provider engagement,” said Graham Gardner, CEO of Kyruus. “It gives us great satisfaction to know that each time we implement a customer, we’re helping a new population of patients get to the right provider each and every time. We look forward to partnering with even more organizations in the year ahead as they seek to optimize care coordination for their patients.”
