Proven Financial Executive Brings 15 Years of Experience to Leading Patient Access Company
Boston, MA - Kyruus, a leader in provider search and scheduling solutions for health systems, announced today that John McLean has joined its executive leadership team as Chief Financial Officer. McLean will spearhead corporate financial strategy and financial operations for the rapidly growing company whose enterprise-wide patient access platform supports leading health systems across the country. His responsibilities will include overseeing Kyruus’ financial planning & analysis, accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting processes. He will also play a key role collaborating with senior leadership on pricing strategy, business development, and strategic initiatives to support the company’s continued expansion.
McLean brings more than 15 years of financial experience to his leadership position at Kyruus, including four years in healthcare technology. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Best Doctors, a Boston-based global medical information services company that connects patients with top doctors to review their diagnoses and treatment plans. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of Best Doctors’ worldwide financial operations and driving strategic projects to improve financial performance, McLean played a critical role in the company’s ultimate sale to Teladoc in July 2017.
Prior to Teladoc, McLean held leadership positions in finance at Eze Software Group and WGBH. He began his career at KPMG, spending seven years at the global audit, advisory, and tax firm as a Manager supporting both publicly traded and privately held clients with financial statement audit and other assurance services. McLean is a certified public accountant and earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting and finance at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland.
