Kyruus Announces Appointment of Chris McMahon as Senior Vice President of People
Boston Technology Veteran to Drive Talent Acquisition and Retention for Rapidly Growing Patient Access Technology Company
Boston, MA – Kyruus, a leader in provider search and scheduling solutions for health systems, announced today that Chris McMahon has joined its executive leadership team as Senior Vice President of People. McMahon will oversee all aspects of the employee experience and spearhead talent acquisition, development, and retention as the company expands its presence in Boston and beyond. He will also play a key role in championing and reinforcing the company’s unique, mission-driven culture both internally and externally.
McMahon brings more than 15 years of experience attracting and developing talent for high-growth technology companies in the Boston area to his new position at Kyruus. Most recently, he served as Vice President of People & Culture at Turbonomic, a Boston-based enterprise software company, where he was instrumental in supporting its aggressive growth. Prior to Turbonomic, McMahon oversaw talent acquisition at Vistaprint – and its parent company, Cimpress – amid its rapid global expansion. He previously led the HR teams at Endeca and 170 Systems prior to their respective acquisitions, building extensive experience in employee recruiting and retention.
“I couldn’t be more excited to join Kyruus as I was immediately drawn to the company’s vision, team, and technology platform. Improving patient access by better matching patients with providers, enabling health systems’ digital transformations – these are exciting opportunities to be a part of,” said McMahon. “The market opportunity is immense and our people are truly shaping this space. I look forward to being part of an excellent team and helping deliver an exceptional experience for our people and, in turn, our customers.”
McMahon’s hiring comes at a pivotal time, as Kyruus continues to grow its employee base in Boston and around the country to meet rising demand for the Kyruus ProviderMatch™ platform. The company, which Built In Boston recently named one of the 100 Best Places to Work in Boston, relocated its Boston headquarters to the Fort Point area in July 2018 to accommodate its ongoing expansion.
“We are incredibly fortunate to help facilitate access to more that 200,000 providers at over 450 hospitals around the country,” said Graham Gardner, CEO of Kyruus. “As we look to the future, finding and nurturing top talent will be critical to our ability to scale and deliver on our mission. Chris will play a key role in helping us cement our position as a premier company to work for in Boston – one where employees can transform their careers while making a true difference in healthcare.”
